Standalone door handle covers are the most straightforward option. These are moulded covers that clip or tape over your existing door handles, converting them from chrome or body colour to matte black. Some models are available in keyless entry versions, which have cutouts for the keyless button so the cover does not interfere with your vehicle’s smart key system. Door handle bowl inserts are a different product altogether. Rather than covering the handle itself, these sit inside the recessed bowl where your fingers reach in to pull the handle. For models like the Ford Ranger PX3 and Nissan Navara NP300, there are separate keyless and standard versions of the door handle covers.
