Body Cladding & Mouldings

Matte black side door body cladding to protect the lower panels of your ute from stone chips, scratches and everyday knocks. We stock cladding for popular models including the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, Volkswagen Amarok, Isuzu D-MAX, Mitsubishi Triton and more.

What Body Cladding Does

The lower half of your doors is one of the most exposed areas on any ute or 4×4. It sits right in the firing line for stones kicked up by the front tyres, gravel spray on unsealed roads, mud and water from work sites, and the kind of low-level scrapes that happen in tight car parks or crowded loading areas. Over thousands of kilometres, all of that takes a toll on the paintwork. Small chips turn into bare spots, bare spots attract moisture and salt air, and before long you are dealing with rust patches on parts of the car that used to look fine.

Body cladding sits over the lower door panels and acts as a physical barrier between your paint and everything the road throws at it. It is a simple concept, but it works. Instead of your paintwork absorbing every hit, the cladding takes the impact and keeps the surface underneath in good shape. For tradies and drivers whose utes spend every day on gravel roads, construction sites and industrial areas, it is one of the cheapest ways to prevent the kind of panel damage that gets expensive to fix.

Think of it as insurance for your doors. A quality set of body cladding costs a fraction of what a professional respray or panel repair would run, and once it is on, you do not need to think about it again. The cladding does the work quietly in the background while your vehicle gets on with whatever you need it to do, whether that is hauling gear to site or heading off on a weekend adventure.

If you are already running fender flares on your vehicle, body cladding is a natural companion. Flares cover the wheel arches and cladding covers the doors, which means the entire side profile of your ute is protected from the ground up. Together, they give the vehicle a cohesive, finished look while keeping the most vulnerable panels safe from wear.

Finish and Fitment

Almost every set of body cladding in our range comes in a matte black finish, and there is a good reason for that. Matte black works with virtually every vehicle colour, from white and silver through to darker tones. It does not clash, it does not look out of place, and it has the added benefit of hiding minor scuffs and marks that would show up on a gloss or painted surface. For a component that is specifically designed to take hits, a material and finish that wears well without showing every scratch is exactly what you want.

The cladding itself is made from durable automotive-grade ABS or similar moulded plastic, shaped to follow the contours of each specific vehicle. This is not a flat strip that gets stuck on and hopes for the best. Each set is designed to match the door lines, curves and proportions of the model it is made for, giving you a perfect fit that looks like a factory accessory rather than an afterthought.

It is worth noting that we stock both standard and slim profiles for some models. The Ford Ranger PX series, for example, has a slim cladding option for owners who want a more subtle look with less visual impact. The standard width covers more of the door surface and provides a greater level of protection, so which one you go with depends on how much coverage you want versus how understated you prefer the design.

The install process is straightforward across the range. Most kits attach using 3M automotive tape or push-in clips that follow existing factory points on the door. No drilling is required, and the process typically takes less than an hour. Once fitted, the cladding sits flush against the body and stays secure through highway driving, corrugated roads and everything in between.

Vehicles We Cover

Our body cladding range covers the most popular utes on Australian roads, with options for multiple generations and year ranges.

The Ford Ranger has the most products in this category. We stock cladding for the PX, PX2 and PX3 generations (2011-2022) in both standard and slim widths, plus a set for the Next Gen Ranger (2022-2024). If you are looking at other ways to kit out your Ranger, browse our full Ford Ranger accessories page.

The Toyota Hilux (2015-2025) is covered with a matte black set that fits across the N80 generation. Simple, clean and effective for one of the most common utes on the road.

Nissan Navara NP300 owners have three different options depending on the year range. There is a 4-piece set for 2015-2019 models, a full set for the 2014-2024 span, and a specific option for the 2021-2024 facelift. With that many splits, it is worth double checking your year and build date to ensure you get the right match. You can explore more options on our Nissan Navara accessories page.

The Volkswagen Amarok is covered across both the original model (2009-2022) and the current generation (2022 onwards), so whether you are driving the older or newer Amarok, there is a set available.

Isuzu D-MAX has cladding for both the 2011-2019 and 2020-2023 models. Mitsubishi Triton covers the MQ (2015-2018) and MR (2019 onwards). Holden Colorado RG (2016-2020) and the Mercedes-Benz X-Class (2017-2020) round out the range.

All cladding in this category is side door coverage. If you are after protection for other areas of the vehicle like the wheel arches or tailgate, have a look at our fender flares and other products in the exterior styling and protection range.
