Why Mirror Covers Are Worth Fitting
Side mirrors are one of the most exposed parts of any vehicle. They stick out from the body on both sides, which means they are the first thing to make contact in tight car parks, narrow work sites, bush tracks and any situation where space is limited. A quick scrape against a wall, a branch catching the mirror on a fire trail, or another vehicle brushing past on a crowded site can leave scratches, scuffs and chips that are difficult and expensive to repair on a factory mirror housing.
Matte black mirror caps sit over the existing mirror shell and take the hits instead. If they get scratched, the matte black finish hides it far better than chrome or body-coloured paint would. And because they are a separate cover that applies over the genuine factory housing rather than a replacement, your original mirrors stay protected underneath. If you ever want to remove the covers and go back to the factory look, the mirrors are still in good condition.

They are the simplest option and the most popular choice for owners who just want the mirrors to match the rest of their matte black accessories.
Mirror covers with integrated LED lights are available for the Toyota Hilux SR5 and Fortuner (2005-2014) and the Mitsubishi Triton ML (2006-2009). These replace the standard mirror look with a cover that includes built-in LED indicator lights on the mirror housing. The LED indicators add an extra point of visibility, which can be helpful on busy roads, dusty work sites and when towing where being seen from the side matters.

Isuzu D-MAX has covers for both the 2012-2019 and 2020-2024 models. Mitsubishi Triton is covered across three generations with options for the ML (2006-2009) in both standard and LED, the MQ (2015-2018) and the MR (2018-2023).
Nissan Navara NP300 (2015-2026) has a set available, as does the Mazda BT-50 (2012-2019). Holden Colorado (2012-2019) and Holden Trailblazer (2012-2019) round out the range, with both sharing the same cover design.
Fitment and Ordering

No tools, no drilling and no modifications needed. The whole process is simple enough to do at home in a few minutes per side, and once fitted the covers sit securely without rattling or shifting.
